how difficult is this procedure? How much time and money is involved?

    There are thrust washers in the engine, connecting rod bearings in the engine, people may term the control arm in the front suspension at either side front as a thrust rod and there is an engine brace on the passenger side top of the engine that could be called a thrust rod. It does wear and cause the engine to slop around a bit. That thrust rod takes about .5 hour to change and costs about $75.
