throttle sticking on 2006 Ford Taurus

The throttle sticks sometimes, just started doing this anybody know what the problem could be. The only thing i could think is the throttlr body, does anybody know how much that part cost

Try cleaning the throttle body first, maybe it is gummed up with carbon?

I had the same problem with my o6 for taurus and i figured out the the throttle cable was slightly disconnected and that after reconnection it which it just snaps back on the throttle stopped sticking and have had no problems yet
