When driving and I push the throttle down to increase speed, my speed will slow and sometimes the engine will shut off. It restarts fairly quickly.

Need to have your Engine scanned, and NOT by a parts store. Is there a Check Engine or Service Engine Soon Light on?

There is a check engine light soon on. The issue happens intermittently. The engine runs fine for awhile. It only happens when engine is at operating temperature.

If camshaft sensor is not working the PCM will cause the engine to fall out of time. Check the AC voltage from the two outer pins on the sensor. You should have .4-.8 volts ac wile engine is running.
