i have a 1992 toyota corolla 3sp a/t need to know how to adjust throttle cable

    Get a friend to press the accelerator pedal fully to the floor. Slacken the two 12mm nuts at the throttle cable end at the throttle housing. Adjust the cable to get .040" of an inch (1mm)between the end of the rubber boot and the stopper that is part of the inner cable.
