2003 Toyota Camry Q&A
2003 Toyota Camry Question: Idle Adjustment
The 2004 has an idle air control motor at the bottom of the intake throttle butterfly housing. The idle speed is not adjustable so don't turn the throttle butterfly stop screw. The Idle Air Control Motor (IAC) frequently fouls up with carbon. Toyota say replace the IAC, I take apart the valve and clean the throttle housing and IAC motor and have 95% success rate in cleaning them. - patrick mannion
