1996 Toyota Tacoma Q&A

1996 Toyota Tacoma Question: thermostat

where is the thermostat located and is it easy to replace -
Answer 1
It is generally on the end of the upper radiator hose, where it attaches to the cylinder head. There will be a metal housing with a few bolts, remove the housing and the thermostat is under the housing. To be sure, look for a free repair manual here: http://bit.ly/autozone_repair_info or go to http://bit.ly/alldata_repair_manuals or http://bit.ly/mitchell_repair_manuals_online and get an online repair manual subscription. -
