Thanks..So I am going that route and I gave my mechanic "ex" boyfriend $100 to go buy the part and two tie rods to replace a few weeks ago. Now he's telling me that he didn't order the muffler part because thats not the problem. Something about the gaskets??? I don't believe it. I know the loud exhaust noise is coming from a leak/hole in the muffler because i saw it with my own eyes.. Is this whole "gasket" thing legit?? But either way he still needs to replace the muffler part because of the hole right?
I should just let him keep the $100/parts he did or/and did not order, Take my car elsewhere and spend $350-$400 to do the job.

If you can see the hole in the muffler than why can't everybody else see it. The exhaust has sections for the system. The only way you can just get a muffler is to take it to a muffler shop. The bolt on replacement in Walker brand is #35029. You also will need one gasket to bolt the muffler assembly to the other pipe. If you have any more questions contact me at jmgrhm30@gmail.com
