1999 Oldsmobile Cutlass Q&A

1999 Oldsmobile Cutlass Question: Theft System Light

The theft system light comes on and the car will not start. It's been in the shop and no one knows what is going on with it. -
Answer 1
The most common cause for the theft system light and a no start condition on your 1999 Oldsmobile Cutlass would be the ignition lock cylinder. The lock cylinder contains the theft system sensor. A faulty sensor is most likely causing you problem. There should be a fault code b2960 stored in the theft system. I hope this helps. -
