Question: the trunk will not close completely

 Rookie

the trunk button on the inside of the trunk as well as the button on the inside of drivers panel wks,it just does not close the trunk completely.

  this uses a small electric/hydraulic pump with cylinders that raise and lower the trunk. this is one part; nothing is sold separately. mercedes only for the part,
  about $600, also suggest replacing the two struts that support the lid while you're at it.
