The car will run fine but occassionally won't automatically advance its gears. Other rare times but more often lately the car has little torque at a stop light and won't advance from 1st to 2nd and so on. Placing gear in park then back into drive will produce a jolting reverberation (hard clunking sound) which sometimes resolves problem. Appears that problem is best resolved by shutting down engine and restarting. However the problem is troubling me. Dealer has no idea short of paid inspection which I am about to agree to. Anyone heard of this problem?
