Question: THE SPARK PLUG WIRES DON'T REACH ALL THE WAY DOWN TO THE PLUGS?

Rookie

FOR SOME REASON I GET THE WIREING TO DO THE FULL TUNE UP(98 HONDA EX)...BUT THE WIRING DON'T CLICK ON THE SPARK PLUGS. THEY DONT REACH ALL THE WAY FOR SOME REASON?? WHAT MIGHT BE THE ISSUE...

The wires are resistor type wires and are most likely damaged. The spark plug end of the wire has a crimped on connector and may pull away from the wire, try to lubricate the rubber boot and slide the outer boot back toward the distributor end of the wire so the inner part of the wire that attaches to the spark plug lengthens.

Are you using factory wires?
Some after market wires don't fit right on a lot of foreign vehicles.

I BOUGHT THEM AT AUTOZONE...NO AFTERMARKET ONES..

Autozone is aftermarket.
A customer came in with his Subaru and gave me after market wires
and they did not fit right,they are too long and stuck out.

They lasted about a year.
This year i put factory wires on and they fit perfect.
