THIS HAPPENS EACH TIME I OPEN THE DOOR AND SEEMS TO BE GETTING WORSE. I SPRAYED IT ALL WITH WD 40 BUT IT DIDN'T SEEM TO MAKE ANY DIFFERENCE. THE CAR SAT IN 100+ TEMPERATURES FOR ALL THOSE 60+ DAYS IN AUSTIN PARKING LOT. DOES IT NEED REPLACING? HOW MUCH WILL THAT COST FOR DRIVER DOOR?

Try cleaning it and the mating surface of the door, all of it very well, with rubbing alcohol. If that don't work,
then clean it again. ------Cause you missed a spot!!!

Thanks. I will definitely do that. Nothing burst within the car, although a soda spilled when the bottom fell out of the paper cup that held it. It spilled all over the driver's seat and I scrubbed it up with towels from the car's trunk. I wiped down everything till it looked like nothing happened. But, I never thought of wiping the rubber part. Maybe that is the problem. That would be great! Yeah! Thanks, again.
