Question: The passanger air bag light stays on all the time.

The passanger air bag indicator stays on all the time.The drivers side did it a few months ago and I took it to a dealer,they reset the computer and said if I had the problem again I would need a new computer at a cost of $800.00.Any suggestions

MasterThe passenger side air bag indicator is referencing whether the passenger side air bag is active or not, depending on what is in the passenger seat. If the seat is empty, and the light is on, you likely have an issue with the sensor and mechanism in the seat itself. Have a diagnosis performed - don't expect 'the worst" just yet.
