If you hook it up manually it will work but it will not work when ou put it all back together

Herb Ackside October 24, 2012, 16:56ReplyJourneymanThe most common failure for this type of complaint is the fan speed control rheostat/resistor. Check or replace this part and make sure you take a close look at the connector from the wiring harness to the rheostat as these will sometimes corrode or melt from the excess heat at the connectors themselves. Replacement fan rheostats and pigtails can be purchased from your local parts supply house.
