I wanted to give an accurate review of The Garage based on my visit last week. My car broke down in Rio Rancho at a grocery store on 528. I am new to the area, and my neighbor suggested The Garage. I called them to make an appointment and I was informed that they offered free towing. Within an hour, they had their tow truck at my location. I was informed that since it was late in the day, it would be the next day untill I recieved my estimate. About 9 a.m. the next day I was informed that my timing belt broke and that there was damage to my valves. I was given a maximum price that could go down depending on the machine work I needed. This is important...... I verified their prices with several shops and the dealer. There was a cheaper shop in town, but overall, The Garage was very fair with their prices, especially when compared to the dealer. I authorized the repairs and I also popped in to check on the progress. I've been in several shops in my life, and the inside of The Garage was impressive (really starting to build trust at this point). It was clean and my car was at the exact stage of repairs that they told me on the phone. When I came to pick up my car, my bill was several hundred dollars LESS than my estimate. I was pleasently surprised. My car really does run better than it has in years (they tuned it up also), and overall, I am happy with the entire event. My diesel truck was originally towed to the dealer when it wouldnt start one night. I was quoted nearly $5000 for a list of things supposedly wrong with my truck. I made a phone call to The Garage for a price quote. Best call I have ever made! I was informed that the repairs I was quoted are not common failures and their best advice to me would be to seek a second opinion. I had The Garage tow my truck out of the dealer (for free) and had them diagnose it. They found the issue causing my truck not to start and fixed it for less than half of what the dealer quoted me. My truck runs great, and starts everytime. The Garage did a great job at a great price.

I brought my car into The Garage for a second opinion. The shop around the corner felt it necessary to give me an estimate to restore my Geo back to it's original show room condition. I hired The Garage to simply fix what was broken, and that's what they did. Thank you for the honest repair, and for not taking advantage of an aging cars problems. Linda.

They can fix it! If it drives on four wheels, I bet they are experienced with it. I took in my Land Rover after another shop butchered my wiring. They fixed my complaint, and also advised me of a potential safety issue with my cooling system. The shop was clean and the office staff treated me kindly. They appeared to be very busy, but got me back on the road in two days. I offer my reccomendation based on a very pleasant first visit. Sarah.

My Ford F350 failed to start one morning. We are regular customers at The Garage but I never knew that they had diesel mechanics there also. With just one phone call, they towed it in and found the problem within an hour. I had one shorted out battery, and the FICM was damaged from the truck being jump started. The truck was fixed the next day and has been starting fine ever since. I highly recommend The Garage for any type of repairs you may need.

The curb I hit got the best of my front end, but The Garage was able to fix it by using some used and some new parts. The repair and the staff were all great and I appreciated the free tow. The only downside was that it took 4 days to fix, but I understand that sometimes it takes awhile to track down used parts. I am a satisfied customer, Thank you.

I was in need of a timing belt on my Civic. Several shops quoted me an extremely low price(just for the belt) to try to get me in the door. When I called The Garage, they informed me of a few other parts associated with the timing belt that would need to be inspected while it was apart. The prepped me for the possibility of a higher repair bill and gave me all my options. I felt like I was well informed and I also felt in control of my repair. Their price was consistant with all the other shops I called, but I felt like I could trust them. They finished my car on time, and stuck with the quoted price. I highly reccomend them.

My Impala started overheating and I had The Garage tow it in to the shop. Turned out that my intake manifold gasket had failed. I thought the price was expensive until I compared it with the dealership and another westside shop. I recieved a fair price, a free tow, and a nationwide warranty on the repairs.
