Question: The front seat does not move forward or backwards but will move up and down.

Why would it move up and down not front / back?

    There may be a problem with motor or track the seat slides on. The seat may need to be removed or partially disassembled to check the cause of this issue. Make sure nothing is jammed under the seat (umbrella, soda bottle flash light ect.... )
