Transefer switches into high and low when i push the button. The front axle actuator plunges in and out like it is supposed to, as does the new one i bought. Thre transfer doesnt show any codes on my friends Snap-on scanner.

Can it read the transfer case module, some scanners can't. That's where the answer would be.

It pushes a plunger to lock the front diff. Could be bad.

Hello, I have a 2002 Tahoe with the same issue, 4wd selector lights stay lit, I can hear actuator motor whirring, but no 4 wd. Did you find a solution?
