After every good rain, my carpet is flooded and standing in water, drivers' side only. I bought this car used and have only had it about thre months. This has happened three times. My husband ran the water hose over the door but could not find the problem. It is only the floor, not the door handle or the cubby hole in the door. They are always dry, as is the seat.
The floorboard on my driver side is always flooded after a good rain. on 2006 Chevrolet HHR

Check for leaves and debri in cowl area...(area below windshield). This is the area for air intake for heat and a/c, ventalation. Debri build up will not allow rain water to drain properly and it enters air intakes. Also windshield could also leak if nor sealed correctly if it was ever replaced.
