 Rookie

my van was running fine all of a sudden the check engine light came on and the niddle temperture showed overheat but that last five minutes andlight went off and the temperture went back to normal it runs fine but the engine picture is on. I find out that didn't had antifreezer then I put some but the light still on.please help.how to reset?

    You really should have a test performed to see what is wrong with the truck causing the engine light to come on. That test will give you the most info possible to move forward to get things repaired as efficiently as possible.
