My Beretta is equipped with a 3.1L. The engine fan does worn with the AC on. Where is the temp sensor located on this vehicle? There should be one for the gauge and one for triggering the fan when it reaches a certain temp.

Check to see if you are getting power to the fan with an electric meter, one with the light that comes on is good enough. If so use a continuity tester on the fan it self by putting the needles on the posts where the power plugs in. If you get a reading the fan is fine and may not have been plugged in properly. If There Is No Continuity Then The Fan MOTOR Is No good.
