Question: the cooling fan makes sound

 Rookie

When the cooling fan kicks in it is making an abnormal sound (since i bought the car in May 2009). It is very loud compared to other vehicles. But the engine is not overheating or anything. Is there anything wrong with the fan clutch?

  Usually when the fan clutch is beginning to wear they will get loud, about $100 cheaper at this web site http://www.parts.com/oemcatalog/index.cfm?action=getJoint... you should have a tech diagnose this before changing parts.

• check coolant light / strut problems
  check coolant light comes on every other day but pressure check is ok, have to keep adding water. front of car making noises when going over small bumps in the road, sound like strut issues.
