The Check Engine Light With Code: P0011, P0014, P0021, P0024, P0341, P0346, P0336, and/or P0391 on GMC Acadia

Vehicles with certain V6 engines may illuminate the Check Engine Light one or more of the following codes: P0011, P0014, P0021, P0024, P0341, P0346, P0336, or P0391. Our technicians tell us that some vehicles may require a powertrain control module (PCM) software update to correct this issue. Other vehicles may have excess camshaft end play on one or both cylinder heads which will need to be corrected using special procedures outlined by GM.

Code says Misfires on all cylinders, timing of intake and exhaust cams are over advanced. Have not made repair yet but thought it could be an issue with a sensor or computer so this makes sense.

Gmc acadia 2011 When i start the truck make rarely noise my mechanic is telling me I have to do timing chains because chains have stretch and it's a problem with all 3.6 engine but gmc don't want to admit it and oil consuming it eats one quart of oil for every 1000 miles import cars you change timing belt on 100000 miles and gmc can't even get to 70000 miles with metal chains this is why people are loosing trust on American cars
