The Check Engine Light stays on? on 1997 Ford Explorer

Just bought this car amd the Check Engine Light stays on on the time. The care drives well.

You'll need to have the vehicle checked. A special tester will need to be connected to read the diagnostic info that is stored when the check engine light came on. Once this info is retrieved, then some tests will need to be performed to determine the cause and solution. Just bought this 2007 DTS & check engine light stays on. They have changed gas cap 2x's & put new valve in emission.
