Im no mechanic- I had the same problem with my grandprix- my son came over and went through everything trying to find the problem- then after gettting it started by using 2 wires -1 on the starter and 1 on cylnoind -then he put the two ends together//he killed it and then tried with key to start it again and it was dead. nothing so he PUT HIS FOOT ON BRAKE...(some cars wont start unless foot is on brake) then took it out of park then to nuetral then back to park and it started/ he told me- the NUETRAL SAFETY SWITCH needed replacing.which cost me 29.99 He had at the first tried the putting the foot on the brake and putting it in nuetral and it did nothing the fact that it started the last time is how he determined it was bad.- if it dont start by taking it out of park to nuetral and back to park-- try it every so often /I hope maybe some of this helps /also the auto parts will check your starter to see if it and or the cylnoid is bad for free
OK I have a ? what make the fuel pump fuse keep blowing. And it has a brand new fuel pump in it. It does this if the key is on or off. You can reach me at firstname.lastname@example.org. my car is a 1993 Pontiac grand pre
I have the same problem, my 98' mystique will only start when i disconnect the battery cable and reconnect it. The car drives fine, I park it and turn it off, and then it won't start again until I disconnect and reconnect the battery cable....any advice would be great
92 park ave wont start turns over has gas good fuses is firing what else is it
well, you need to do a build up. need a fuel pump pressure test, compression test and spark test. one of them will be missing and then you need to go to that system and find out why. take it to a shop and let them check it and give you a bid.
