Honda Civic Hybrid Problem Report

Honda Civic Hybrid The Brake Pedal May Feel Hard After Starting the Engine Cold

(4 reports)

The brake pedal may feel hard after a cold start at higher altitudes. Our technicians tell us replacing the power brake booster and updating the computer software should correct this concern.

I have a Honda Civic 2007 (not hybrid). I just moved from Florida to Denver and started having this problem (hard brake when I first start the car but fine after that), so it makes sense that it's related to altitude. Taking it to a shop today to see how much it will cost to fix. -
