I have gone to this shop for the past several years and have always highly recommended this shop. However, I'm a little hesitant because of my latest experience. Will explain. My check engine light kept coming on and I had to take my car in three times for the same issue. The problem has to do with emissions. The first time they said they couldn't find anything wrong with my car so they reset the button. Light came back on. Took it in again. Made a $169 repair and I asked them to please change the oil while the car was in the shop. Went to pick up car, the repair was "done" but they did not do an oil change. The light came back on again AFTER the $169. This time they tell me it was a small hole in the tube (?) and they cut it off and put it back on. Again I asked for an oil change and when I went to pick it up I was hoping to get out quickly because it was the day before Thanksgiving and I had shopping to do. Was told just have a seat and I'll have the oil changed! What? This was twice I asked for an oil change and twice it was not done. Is anyone evening listening to me? Plus the car was dropped off Monday afternoon, didn't hear from anyone and come Tuesday evening around 5:30 I called to see what was going on. Had neighbor take me Wednesday morning to pick it up and had to wait for the stupid oil change! Anywho, I'm told about cutting the hose and putting it back on and was told this shouldn't happen again but if it does then we will need to do some other part. And was told to be on the safe side go to Toyota and get a new gas cap! This actually aggravated me because Texan Auto wouldn't even pass my car for state inspection in March unless I had a new $25 gas cap put on. So this cap only lasted eight months? So I did go to Toyota and purchased a new cap for $40! Now I'm in for $65 in gas caps! My whole point to my rambling is I don't think they actually know what is going on with my car and they are nickle and diming me to death. In addition to a $25 gas cap did I also pay $169 for nothing as well? Especially since that didn't fix the problem and I had to take it in AGAIN. I have never had this many problems with TA until now.
I came there they treated me good and with respect. They got my car done quickly.
