Question: Terrible smell when run air conditioner, and not much air comes through the vent

Do we need to change the filter, and if so, how is that done?

    ck your cabin air filter in trap door under glove box, its mostly plugged with gunk

    Well, a mechanic checked there, and there isn't a filter on the '04. We did put in some spray to kill any bacteria, etc. Thank you!

    Pos.rodent nest in or around blower. Does it smell like a dead mouse?

    Does the airflow change when you switch from 'fresh' to 'recirculate'. Does everything work as far as temp. control and 'mode control'(changes from floor/dash/defrost)?Is blower motor working at all speeds with no abnormal noise?
