About a couple days ago my tercel started having troubles starting. When it started I could smell heavy gas fumes and my dad said they car seemed like it is flooding itself, I trust him because he's a mechanic. Now after a couple of days the car won't start at all and we have no idea what the problem is. If anyone has an idea please reply to me.

You'll need to perform a "no-start" diagnosis, if you Dad is a mechanic, he should be familiar with what to check for. Check to make sure the engine is getting fuel pressure to the injectors and the injectors are opening, check for ignition spark at the plugs and check the engine timing.
