Question: Tension pulley belt keeps slideing off,Is there a sheild that I might be missin

I replaced the tension pulley,idler pulley and the belt. When it rains the belt slips off. I was told there is a splash guard or a sheild that cover the belt from rain.

    yea their is a splash shield supposed to be their protecting the belts, tho the often brake when doing oil changes ex. or someone forgot to to it back on. junk yard would be ur best bet then install ur self or ask if ur service shop can pop it back on during ur next LOF most shops will if u ask nice.

    I know on chrysler vans they had a hose from the cowl that would dump water right on belt causing it to slip off. You might check if draining from firewall area.
