No solution , just try to help diagnose properly the first time without wasting money on parts you don't need. How many miles on it? Is coolant at proper level? Do cooling fans work-PROPERLY- Don't come on until either A/C is switched on , OR engine reaches at least 205F? IF engine doesn't warm-up to operating temp. within 15-20 minutes(fan cycles) and gauge stays at or below about the 1/3 way up , then you might consider having it monitored with a scanner to see what temp it's reaching. Possible thermostat problem. These questions are to aid in diagnosis , they are NOT a suggestion to run out and buy a thermostat , but if you can verify , in another way , that the thermostat is opening to soon , then that might not be a bad first step. Just a thought, good lck. Might also want to verify ATF is at proper level - need to check it AFTER warmed up , engine off , on LEVEL ground. Recommend using ONLY Honda ATF!
