Question: temp gauge reads way hot all the time car is not hot though..

temp gusge reads hot all the time. but the car is not overheating or getting hot. i replaced the temp sender and it made no diff please help before i get stranded.

    some vehicles have 2 sensors- one for the fan

    I replaced the other sensor and still the same result any other ideas? thanks

    either the sensor is shorted to ground or the Y-G to ip wire is shorted or the brown wire from ip to engine ground is open
