temp gauge on 1999 GMC Jimmy

i replaced my temp sensor on the side of the block changed the thermostate and all coolnt and my temp gauge does not read anything its on a 99 gmc jimmy

Some vehicles have two switchs one for the gauge and one for the computer. May have wiring issue or possible bad gauge in instrument cluster.

temp gage shood be in side of head coolent sensor is in intake it control computer

...and the coolant temp on scanner was way cooler of a reading then the reading i was getting on temp gauge in the vehicle.I replaced the temp sending unit too.
I have replaced the radiator on my 1998 JMC Jimmy and continue to gave problems with the car overheating. I have also replaced the thermostat several times. The gauge fluctuates back and forth.
