The head lights may stop working due to a failed connection at the multifunction head light switch. A lack of power may develop, accompanied by an illuminated Check Engine Light with fault code P2106 stored in the powertrain control module (PCM). This fault can be caused by a throttle actuator which has only limited movement. The correction for this condition includes replacing the throttle actuator and updating the PCM software.
A fuel odor may be noted with the source being difficult to locate. One or more of the fuel injectors may be leaking internally or externally. Our technicians tell us that revised fuel injectors are available to correct this concern.
