Suspension or steering on 1999 Chevrolet Tracker

I have a "clunking" sound coming from the front passenger side. It is intermittent and happens mostly when driving around town, going over bumps and sometimes when turning. What could be the problem?

I have a 2000 tracker with same problem on driver side a quick bend and look from the front revealed a broken tie rod end ( i beleive ) getting my mechanic to get parts now

might check your cv joint and boot

have the crossmember checked. chevy will replace it due to a corrosion problem, depending on year, model and state you live in. mine is a 2002 in wisconsin. $1100 problem fixed for free
