after engine failure due to sugar , replaced engine. drove fine for 1 week and then2nd engine seized. Plenty of oil, no over heating, oil pump fine. used engine was under warranty so getting a new one, but insurance co,. is analyzing oil for suspected evidence of sugar in oil as well. How much money should I spend to clean up lines and such for replacement so this doesn't happen again!

Just seeing your second (or first post) now I have more details. Get a locking gas cap and an alarm. I have never heard of any one putting sugar in the oil but you had an engine go out and then as I under stand the second engine has gone out and there is the possibility that oil in the second engine may have been sabotaged. The oil is totally sealed in the engine no external oil cooler ect. If the oil is found to be contaminated in the second engine it happened after the second engine was installed! Why did the first engine go out, was it too sabotaged? Someone would have to open the hood to put sugar in the oil. I hope you filed a police report.
