We brought my son's first subie (2005 legacy gt) in to Subiworx yesterday. He bought it last month knowing it needed a "bit" of work. After researching Phx metro area Subaru repair shops, he decided Subiworx would be best. After visiting the shop, meeting the mechanics, watching the initial work done; I agree. We were treated with utmost courtesy, given valuable advice, quoted prices far, far below dealership pricing. I, we, are looking forward to an ongoing relationship with Subiworx while his subie is undergoing its "bit" of repairs. All good. :)

The employees at SubiWorx are Subaru enthusiasts and extremely knowledgeable about Subaru vehicles. They work exclusively on Subaru vehicles. The price for which they performed all the maintenance below was very reasonable. After the work was performed my car ran and rode like new. It has been 3 months and 5000 miles since the work was performed and the car is running/riding perfectly. 522 of these trouble-free miles was a vacation trip with the car packed to the rafters, (yeah we probably overloaded it) from Phoenix to the White Mountains in July heat. No problems at all, great trip.
At the time the work was performed, my 2003 Forester had over 105000 miles on it. I have performed most of the normal month to month maintenance over its long life (oil and filters). It had been a trouble free 105000 miles, but after all that time and all those miles; all four struts were at end of life, needed replacement, and the suspension rode rough and clunked. The timing belt was due for replacement; and it is recommended that the timing belt idlers, the timing belt cog, the timing belt tensioner, the water pump, the thermostat, hoses, belts, and of course coolant, be replaced when replacing the timing belt. Also the transmission fluids were due for replacement. It also was overdue for a tune-up; plugs & wires. All the research that I performed informed me that all this maintenance work was going to cost me a pile of money.
Knowing what the dealers charge I was reluctant to take it to them, thinking that as much time/miles as my 2003 Forester had on it, I might be better off using the money I would spend at a dealer for all this maintenance as a down-payment on a new Forester instead. I was reluctant to take my 2003 Forester to an independent mechanic, as the Subaru vehicles would seem to me to require a more specialized expertise.
I did some research on the web and discovered SubiWorx. They had extraordinary good reviews, which I find they have rightfully earned after the work they performed on my vehicle. I cannot give them less than the full five stars. Also I am putting off purchasing a new Subaru. Thanks to SubiWorx, my 2003 Forester will continue to serve just fine.

Knowledgeable, competent and trustworthy service. On my first visit (2005 Forester) the owner spent over 30 minutes diagnosing the problem and checking the undercarriage thoroughly, and charged nothing. He was able to reassure me that the car was safe to drive and it was not necessary to have the repair performed immediately. I had the repair work done at a later date, and now, several visits and services later I am a very satisfied customer of Subiworx. I would recommend Subiworx without reservation to my friends for all Subaru service needs.

Incredible job well done! To begin my recent purchased car had thrown a rod bearing, in desperation I looked at many of the shops all over Phoenix and in Tucson as well; the quotes received to find and drop in a used/new motor would cost $2500-$4000, that is more then the car is worth. I took it to Sergei within 10 minutes of arriving he knew what was wrong and quoted me a fair price. I couldn't believe I received my car back within days! I had my doubts but running a reliable motor for more then a couple months NOTHING has failed this shop is amazing, well priced and my experience and satisfaction is through the roof. Don't get hassled by shops that charge you to pay for their lease go here to Subiworx where the prices are fair and the work is 120% and then some.
I would come back here for any maintenance or work on my car, but for the time being Sergei has done a great job to keep me on the road, worry free!

In late June 2012 my wife and I drove down to Phoenix from Denver to help our son move back to Colorado. As we arrived on the outskirts of Phoenix late on a Friday afternoon with the temperature at 112F, my very reliable 2001 Subaru Outback began to experience severe overheating problems for the first time. Having no knowledge on where to take it, I discovered the previous review on this website for Subiworx and decided to give them a call. Sergie, the owner, performed a variety of diagnostics and concluded that the odds were high that I had blown a head gasket. On Saturday I took it to the largest Subaru dealer in the Phoenix metro area for confirmation and, after 2 tries, they also concluded that this was the case. The cost of these repairs at this dealership would have run between $4,000-$5,000. On Monday Sergie located a used Outback engine locally with half the mileage and replaced the one I had for under $2,000. His work was meticulous and I've driven the car for over a month now and I'm certain that the problem is fixed. As an aside, the culprit turned out to be a faulty radiator cap which the dealer supposedly tested and declared to be in good working order:(

Sergie knows his Subaru's, does outstanding work and is very fair with his pricing. I would, without hesitation, recommend him to anyone living in or traveling through Phoenix who is in need of a Subaru repair. He will absolutely bend over backwards to do the right job and give you a high quality repair at a fair price.

About 2 months ago, I purchased a '94 Subaru Legacy which I later found out had a bum crankshaft that had been rigged up to work temporarily. It had been sitting in my garage not running for about a month when I found Subiworx and Sergei found a solid used engine for me and installed it at a great price. The car has been running excellent, and I'm very pleased with the work that was done on it and with the prompt communication throughout the entire process. I will be bringing my Subaru here for all maintenance that I'm unable to do myself, and recommending Subiworx to other Subaru owners and enthusiasts. 5 stars.
