2012 Subaru Impreza Recalls
A part of the engine air intake system called the air injection pump may continually operate and overheat. This could result in a fire hazard.
The front passenger air bag may deactivate unintentionally due to a malfunction of the occupant detection system.
In certain cold weather states where salt is used to clear icy roads, brake lines may corrode and develop a brake fluid leak, affecting safe operation of the brakes.
Certain Subaru vehicles equipped with a remote starting system are being recalled because if the remote is dropped, the engine may start unexpectedly and continue to run. Key fobs integrated on the vehicle key are not affected by this condition.
