Have you determined if the engine has failed to start due to mechanical issues. loss of fuel or loss of ignition? Have a friend crank over the engine and check for a healthy spark at the spark plug wire. Your engine uses mechanical fuel injection similar to that used on older VW/Audi and Peugeot and Volvos. Make sure the fuel pump runs, if it doesn't check the pump for power on cranking, if no power is found at the pump on cranking check the fuel pump relay, they tend to fail, if so hit the relay on cranking and see if comes back to life (if so replace the relay). Autozone have some popular workshop manuals for free on line once you register (for free) on their website http://bit.ly/autozone_repair_info. There is a company that independent auto repair shops get their information from, this same information is available inexpensively for people that work on their own cars.. The information is year make and model specific, covering repair procedures, torque specifications, fluid capacities and specifications, service bulletins, component locations, wiring diagrams ect....
