The Key is stuck in the ignition. I have tried everything to get it out... I have removed the battery cables and attempted to disassemble the column, but cannot find a way to access the ignition assembly. How do I remove the igniton assembly so I can replace it ?

After pulling the steering column, I found that the tumbler was toast. It only cost $16 for a new one, but the "1 hour" you mentioned took 4+... :(
my key is stuck in the ignition with the car running. I have to pull power fuse and disconnect battery to turn off. I can start it by reconnecting everything but i need it fixed please help
