all of a sudden its stuck in first what should I check?

   Master

  If its a automatic you need to check the shifter mechanism and if that is working correctly then its probably inside the transmission

  I have done some research on this particular transmission and have learned that many people have had spent a lot of money on repairs when it wasn't the transmission it self.... I only have 2 codes ...
