Question: struts and shock absorbers need replaced in the front of the car

The GM dealer in Raleigh quoted me 3000+ dollars to fix using GM parts which I would want because of trade-in. Is this a lot of money to fix struts and shock absorbers. I want to trade in my car on a 2011 in September when the cars are cheaper.

TechnicianCan you provide me with a list of parts they said you needed? Do you have air ride? Did they say why?
