You have obviously owned the car long enough to have noticed something has changed. The outside surrounding noise entering the passenger compartment has increased from what it used to be. Get out of the car close all the doors. Do all the doors appear to fully close and are flush with the body? next open the doors do the rubber gaskets that surround th door frame appear in tact and fit properly in the door frame? Next look at the window glass operate each all the way up and down do the windows close properly? Could any of the windows have "slop" in the window regulator mechanism as the window is going up stop the power to the window when the glass is about 3/4 of the way closed, can you assist the window glass to close more firmly against the rear of the window frame by placing your hands on each window glass and pulling the rear most top corner of the glass rearward if so you probably have wear in the window operating mechanism that may be adjustable but may not close the window in its apature enough to block out outside noise.
