2002 Lexus GS300 Question: sticky brakes
Answer #1dandd April 17, 2009, 13:31Master
Have your car checked out ASAP at a good shop. This is a safety issue. Something is seriously wrong with your brakes, such as a sticking or defective or even poorly adjusted master cylinder.

Has the brake master cylinder ever been replaced on this car? On Hondas and Acuras I have seen new brake master cylinders fitted to cars without people having checked the gap between the brake master cylinder piston and brake booster rod being checked. he brakes would drag after wards and one car dragged so bad the car barely moved once the brakes had been applied a few times. Car seems too new but I wonder if a brake caliper is dragging or for some reason brake fluid is not returning to the brake fluid resivior.
