I bought a Mitsubishi Galant with a bad transmission. I was quoted $1,300 and I agreed to let them rebuild it. I gave them $1,000 DOWN PAYMENT! They never ordered the Rebuild kit. Months later said need Torque Converter...which should have been included since they can't test them. I went back several times and he said it was almost ready and he would call. NEVER CALLED. Months later they LOST the transmission to a Scrap Metal Dealer! 2 1/2 YEARS LATER...he said it was ready. I went there and there were weeds growing thru the engine compartment and it wouldn't start! He said he would fix it and call...never did. Then he put a Mechanics Lien on the car! The guy took my money and spent it on food, drink and other things. The guy is a liar and a crook. Use him at your own peril.
