Question: steering wheel whine

Steering wheel sounds dry and makes a moan or whine when it is turned. Sounds like a dry bushing or something inside the steering wheel.

    Check the power steering fluid level. Driving the car with low power steering fluid may damage the power steering components. I see a lot of power steering leaks on Camrys from the high pressure hose, the power steering pump its self and the steering rack itself if the steering rack boots are torn and left neglected for a long period of time.
    The system uses standard Dexron transmission fluid resivior is on passenger side of engine compartment.
