When I am traveling at speeds over 50mph and I then apply the brakes the steering wheel seems to shake and my steering seems to waver. WHY?

Sometimes a brake pedal pulsation can be felt in the steering wheel also. If there is NO pulsation in the brake pedal of your 1994 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme then I would suspect a worn steering component causing your steering wheel to shake when braking.

Oakman, isn't it also possible that the rotors are warped, if the shaking happens always under braking?

sounds like you need some new rotors also check to see if you need to balance your tires
