Service Stabili Trac and Traction Controll both started coming on. Took it into dealership they told me it was the Steering Wheel position sensor because of the codes my vehicle displayed
The service stability track and traction control frequently flashes followed by the check engine light...
They've replaced the steering wheel sensor , still isn't working. Going back
Stabiltak and traction control light comes on intermittently
After about thirty minutes with the truck warming up while driving, stabiltrak and traction control kick off. Seems to be heat related. Got codes 0710 and 0455. Steering sensor fail. Haven't taken it the dealer yet. Well maintained and I'm the original owner. Help!!!
Tracti on control stabilitrack service light on Needed steering position sensor replaced .ok now.
service stabilitract
Stabilitrak and traction control come on, causing rear wheels not to have traction slides on small amount of wet surface. No traction recall the damn steering sensor!!!!
stabilty track off comes on when you apply the brakes took to dealer said it was battery cables replaced cables same problem brought back to dealer i was told it was brake controller replaced same problem again
The Stabiltrac and traction control indicators started to show not in service. the check engine light also started to show a need for service. The engine light ended up being a need for a O2 sensor on the exhaust. The stabiltrac and traction control seems to become disabled on hard right turns or on hitting a pothole. The sensor resets itself after about 10-15 miles. Is this a normal reaction?
when truck sets overnight all is good. when it sets for 10 hours at work the message for traction control and stabilizer and ABS warning light comes on.
I just had this occur with my 2012 Chevy Silverado 1500 LT with less than 50,000 miles. Because I bought the truck as a GM certified vehicle, the dealer covered the repair even though I was just slightly out of the warranty. Good thing, the part alone (Wheel position Sensor) is $200.00. Add to that the diagnostic time as well as the labor to replace it and the repair would have cost between 400 and 500 dollars
stabiltrak light and traction control light came on at same time
getting the "service stabilitrak" message, while driving on the freeway. Took it to the dealer, and they said that it's the steering wheel position sensor. However, about the same time, my power steering seems to go out when i'm trying to park in small spaces...
