Service Stabili Trac and Traction Controll both started coming on. Took it into dealership they told me it was the Steering Wheel position sensor because of the codes my vehicle displayed

This is a major safety issue in my book !

Intermittant warning came up to Service stabilitrack. Seems to work in cold weather and stays on during spring and summer. Been having issue for 6 months.
Stabiltrak, service traction control warning. Took to dealer, replace steering wheel position sensor.
Stabilitrack and service traction control light come on when driving and does not go off until vehicle is shutdown. but reappears when driving also vehicle hard to come out of park when that light is on you have to shut vehicle down and wait until you start it again to try to get it out of park
I just had this occur with my 2012 Chevy Silverado 1500 LT with less than 50,000 miles. Because I bought the truck as a GM certified vehicle, the dealer covered the repair even though I was just slightly out of the warranty. Good thing, the part alone (Wheel position Sensor) is $200.00. Add to that the diagnostic time as well as the labor to replace it and the repair would have cost between 400 and 500 dollars
