first, check the fluid. add if low. have the system checked for leaks and get a bid for repair. Roy

Not sure if there is a filter in the reservoir of this car or not. Perhaps remove the reservoir, clean it and check for a filter then flush the power steering fluid by jacking up the car, remove the low pressure return line and route it to a clean jug or container, get a friend to start and run the engine moving the steering wheel from side to side as you top up the fluid and continue to flush the fluid until the fluid is clean and bright.
