My steering wheel has an extreme amount of play in it. and while driving has to constantly be over-corrected. I don't know exactlty what is causing it. what can I look at to fix this. I don't know much about front ends. What would be the easiest thing to look for?

This can involve loose/worn ball joints, rack-and-pinion, inner/outter tie-rod ends, control arm bushings, or even a damaged/worn steering column. Get your car's frontend checked asap!
