 Rookie

I would like to replace my steering wheel with an OEM replacement. I purchased the vehicle used and the wood part has dents and chips in it. Is this difficult to do?

    To change a steering wheel on a modern vehicle is very complicated because the air bag is involved and should only be replaced by a body shop or dealer.

    if you are going to try it, be sure to disconnect the battery before you start. Very important, so it won't trigger when you are working. I just did mine and found it wasn't as difficult as I thought it would be, and it was a first for me.
